Raisi Helicopter Crash | Russian Rescue Plane "Turned Around After Sad News", Turkey Found Wreckage

Iran’s President Raisi was killed after a helicopter carrying him and other officials crashed on May 19 due to bad weather. Iranian Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian, a key figure in the recent Iran-Saudi Arabia rapprochement, was also killed in the crash. The news of the Iranian President’s helicopter making a “hard landing” triggered an extensive search. The search and rescue operation was however hampered by bad weather and foggy conditions.
