Storm Shield Forecast morning update 4/24/18

The ridge of high pressure responsible for all this heat will keep us in the low 90s here in the valley for a couple more days. Expect a high of 94 in Bakersfield today with the low to mid-90s for another day into all the valley and desert cities as well. The Kern River Valley tops out in the mid-80s today while the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park are in the upper 70s, quite warm for them this time of year.
