Church History - Why This Series? #2

The purpose is to illustrate problems concerning “truth” in this current generation. I.e., the lack of knowledge of “truths lost”, “truths restored” and the method God has used to “re-establish truth”.
“Truth” is currently under attack whether spiritual truth, doctrinal truth, factual truth, scientific truth, etc.
“Relative truth” has become pervasive in each of these areas. If the Church loses its basis of truth (Word of God) it no longer represents God accurately, or the Gospel.
