Demolition has begun at the site of the former Lincoln Park Sears, which is set to be replaced with business condos
The Sears location closed on January 6th, 2019, shortly after the chain’s parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection
Fencing went up around the building on the morning of April 11th, 2024, after years of the property sitting vacant along Southfield Road. The process of demolishing the structure is now underway
