New Gun Control Talking Point: Used Police Guns

In a national report, followed up by numerous local reports, CBS has joined with Everytown for Gun Safety under their financially supported gun statistics organization "The Trace" to push a new gun control talking point that will likely be made into a national issue - used police guns.

The report highlights some firearms that were sold by police agencies and later "involved" in a crime, which can be as inconspicuous as someone being arrested for an unrelated crime who also happened to have one of these firearms.

I had not really heard about this gun control push, so I wanted to mention it in case it gets more prevalent in coming months.
