Moscow Monorail

Moscow Monorail (until 2015 - Moscow Monorail Transport System (MMTS)) - a type of public transport in Moscow, consists of a single line located in the northeastern Administrative District (SVAO) of Moscow. It runs completely over an overpass above the ground. It is officially part of the Moscow high-speed transport, representing one of the divisions in the Moscow metro.

The route runs from the Timiryazevskaya metro station on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line to Sergei Eisenstein Street. It passes along Fonvizina Street near the Fonvizinskaya metro station of the Lublin-Dmitrov line, crosses the Oktyabrskaya Railway line, passes by the Ostankino television center along Akademika Koroleva Street, goes to the main entrance of VDNH, and then to the Northern Entrance of VDNH.

The only monorail in Russia.
