U.S. Supreme Court Takes Up Major Gay, Transgender Job Discrimination Cases Unlisted Video

According to Reuters, the US Supreme Court on Monday agreed to decide whether a U.S. law banning workplace discrimination on the basis of sex, protects gay and transgender workers. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, bars employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of sex as well as race, color, national origin and religion. President Donald Trump’s administration has argued that the law does not cover sexual orientation or gender identity.
