Commander Val Thor, from Venus, stayed on Earth in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Now an ambassador for the Galactic Alliance, he resides in domed colonies on Venus. Elena Danaan documented her visits with him and his family aboard the GFW mothership, Excelsior. Val Thor, a Lyran Taali descendant, resembles a human and lives a normal life.
