Making Indianapolis better by working together was the focus of Mayor Joe Hogsett's State of the City address Monday evening. In his speech, Mayor Hogsett highlighted economic and job growth in the city, touting the addition of Salesforce and a billion-dollar investment from FedEx. He also addressed the problems with crime and announced that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is now equipped to fully utilize community-based beat policing.
