Several Russian Motor Rifle Units Entered Chasov Yar from the South

May 18, 2024. Ukrainian Drone Footage shows several Russian BMPs entering the Kanal microdistrict of Chasov Yar from the south and landing troops at a high rise building. The video also shows a Ukrainian armored vehicle bringing troops to counterattack the Russians. The results of the subsequent battle for the high rise building are unknown.

The Russians are attempting to gain a foothold inside the city, and fierce battles are ongoing.
