We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again - the deep dark waters of the ocean are filled with wonders. We know so little of what is really hiding in its depths, it sometimes even scares us.

There’s so little we know of our planet, and naturally it makes us curious as to what else is out there. This thirst for knowledge makes us push our boundaries and reach for the unknown. So far we’ve been able to see almost everything that’s above ground but there are many wonders lurking in the waters depths and the inside of our mysterious planet.

We are reaching for the stars, but we know only a few percents of what the ocean waters hold. There have been many expeditions in the darkest parts of the sea, but we have yet to reach the bottom of the abyss. So far we have gone down to 35,858 feet below the sea’s surface and it’s every bit as magical as we thought it might be.

But what’s not to be afraid of, right? We see all sorts of movies about gargantuan sea creatures lurking in the black abyss, waiting for the right time to float up to the surface, we hear campfire stories of sailors lost at sea because of unknown forces. Even if we don’t believe in the supernatural, the fact is that the water hides some of the greatest predators that ever lived.

From sharks the size of a five story building, to the tiniest poisonous jellyfish, it really takes courage to feel completely safe inside the water, and apparently, these guys real troopers!

Usually when you think of vacation, you think of sandy beaches and crystal clear shallow water in a tropical destinations. What you don’t expect in that little slice of paradise is a hungry seal and a fast prey. A hungry seal slicing through the shallow water amidst all of the vacationers with all of its destructive power, chasing an even faster fish. Unfortunately for the little guy, it couldn’t outswim the sheer force that is one hungry seal. After swimming in a haphazard fashion in between the beachgoers, the fish finally succumbs to the seal’s advances in a glorious leap out of the water.

The footage occurred on April 15, 2018 in Narooma, New South Wales, Australia and this is what the licensor of the video had to say about it: "A group of seals were hunting and catching fish at Narooma break wall also known as bar beach, swimming over the net and through people. The seals come in from Montague island and stay on the break wall. There were a lot of people there on school holidays and they enjoyed the show the seals put on clapping and cheering when the seals were successful."
