Zelensky said Russian troops were “going deeper” and could soon aim for the city of Kharkiv.
Moscow expanded the area of active combat by almost 70 kilometres by launching its offensive in the Kharkiv region, said Ukraine’s army chief. Meanwhile, Nearly 10,000 people had been forced to leave their homes in Kharkiv since the ground attack launched by Russian forces on May 10.
