In today's [Make Money Trading in May 2024] video , we're going to dive into the world of trading and explore the various ways you can make money in May of 2024. We'll take a look at how the markets typically perform in May, including a review of how April turned out this year. As we dig into the data, we'll see that May tends to be a weaker month compared to April, often referred to as the "selloff" month. This time-honored adage of "selling in May and going away" is based on the idea that many investors tend to sell off during this month, causing a decline in the markets.

In recent years, May has indeed been a negative month, with a drop-off after a strong upswing in March and April. And with the past five years showing a negative trend in May, it's no surprise that many traders and investors try to front run this selloff, resulting in a lot of selling and market negativity leading up to the end of May.
