Dale Williams was about to be sentenced for running his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Pledger, off the road and shooting her in 2017. The incident escalated in court as Pledger's sister was preparing to deliver her victim impact statement. Anthony Dees, Pledger's son, lunged at Williams while accompanying his aunt.
