During the interview, the RESO asked questions on the impact of climate change on women's human rights, as well as issues related to gender equality and human trafficking. The focal points of the interview were the importance of sociological research in promoting the human rights of women, achieving gender equality, and addressing climate change concerns.

Shreya Mukhopadhyay attended the 68th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), which is the UN's largest annual gathering on gender equality and women's empowerment. It took place from March 11 to March 22, with the priority theme of "Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing global climate change and its adverse effects on women.
