In this interview we meet Major Mike Reynolds of the United States Marine Corps. He wears many hats in his career but tonight we delve into his art, and the Marine Corps' Combat Artist program, and how it works. The Program began in 1941 when BGen Robert Denig, Director of the Division of Public Relations, coined the phrase, “go to war, do art” in 1942. Ever since, it has served as the guiding principle of the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Art Program.
