Opting out of traditional cancer treatments, Dr. Gorter experienced a remarkable recovery and has lived cancer-free for over 48 years. This transformative experience led him to delve into cancer research, mainly focusing on the role of dendritic cells in the immune response to cancer.

Collaborating with universities in Germany and Austria, he developed a method to create tens of millions of dendritic cells from monocytes, enhancing the body's natural ability to detect and destroy cancer cells.

Dr. Gorter also highlights the importance of fever and hyperthermia in activating the immune system, a principle he applies to achieve long-term remission in cancer patients, contrasting it with the recurrence rates observed in conventional chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
