Unlocking the Power of Animal Proteins
Unlocking the Power of Animal Proteins, The Key to Optimal Nutrient Absorption
The most nutrient dense foods that we have are animal proteins
Bioavailability plays a huge part in this too
Nutrients found in animal foods are in the correct form and easily absorbable by the body
On the other hand plant nutrients come in plant forms meaning they have to be converted to human form before we can use them, and normally the conversion rate is very low
Add on to that the fact that plants also come with fibre and antinutrients which will further block absorption of nutrients and minerals from plants
The final nail in the coffin is that studies have shown that plants rapidly lose their nutrient and mineral content when stored.
So if you are eating plants form anywhere outside of where you live you can be pretty confident the nutrient profile in that plant by the time you eat it is way lower than the “guidelines”
If you want to increase your nutrient profile from your food (and you should) then you NEED to consume animal foods
