This teenager approached me to ask if he could use my phone. I refused. He lunged at me and punched me.

I ran inside the ground floor of an adjacent apartment building.

He chased me, then banged and pulled violently on the door as I tried to close the door to escape and protect myself from him.

I posted this video on social media.

I called Troy police who arrived about twenty minutes later.

After responding to their questions, I made it back to Albany, NY.

The assailant remains at large.
