NT Bible Study 94: cont. sermons: righteousness' sake(Beginning of Jesus' Galilean Ministry part 54)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 54th part continues discussing Jesus' Sermons on the Mount, in particular, what is meant by the phrase "...persecuted for righteousness sake..." in Matthew 5:10. We also review some of the previous discussions on the word "righteousness." Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Matthew 5:6; Matthew 5:20; Romans 3:21-26. Overall, this is our 94th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
