2006: Riding The Streetcar Through New Orleans One Year After Hurricane Katrina (2)

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA (October 21, 2006). A little more than one year after Hurricane Katrina, riding on New Orleans' scaled-down streetcar line from City Park to Canal and Basin in the Central Business District (where, presumably, the tape on my old-school camcorder or the battery ran out).
In this video, New Orleans is still in rough shape.
Still, hats off to the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority for being able to get these cars back on the tracks and the service (such as it was) reopened.
