Sen. Bob Menendez indicted on bribery charges

The New Jersey Democrat and Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair had been under investigation for about a year. This is his second indictment since becoming a senator.

Menendez received cash, gold bars, payments toward a home mortgage, compensation for a low- or no-show job, a luxury vehicle and other items of value, the filing said.
