Biden asserts executive privilege over audio for interview with special counsel Hur.

The Justice Department informed House Republicans that President Joe Biden has asserted his executive privilege over the audio recorded during his interview with Robert Hur.

At today's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) spoke out in favor of a Contempt of Congress resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland over the refusal to hand over Robert Hur tapes, leading to a recrimination from Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY).
