Take A Leek

Leeks are mentioned in the bible as a prominent crop for the Egyptians to grow, were a favourite food of Roman emperor Nero and thanks to St. David, the patron saint of Wales, became the national emblem for the country. They are full of goodness and health and April is the time for planting them.
