"Monstrous..." Putin, Biden Slam Slovak PM Fico’s Assassination Bid | “71-Year-Old Poet” Arrested

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was no longer in a life-threatening condition after he was shot in an assassination bid outside Bratislava on May 15. The gunman shot Fico, 59, five times, as he shook hands with a small group of supporters in the town of Handlová.
Fico was airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital before being flown to another hospital in Banska Bystrica, east of Handlova. The attack initially left Fico in critical condition, following which he underwent a surgery that lasted over 3 hours.
According to reports, the Slovak PM suffered wounds to one of his limbs, the stomach and the chest.
