✨More than just a weight loss transformation✨ I’ve had a few people ask me if I’m happy now that I’ve lost weight so I’d thought I’d share my journey. I’ve battled anxiety and depression for majority of my life and in the midst of the lockdowns, I found myself again at my absolute worst and it was like that consistently for about two years. I hated leaving the house, hated socialising and hated having to get out of bed. I felt like giving up numerous times but I kept trying, I knew I could be happy even though it felt impossible. I changed EVERYTHING, I found an awesome psychologist, I developed boundaries, I started standing up for myself and putting myself first. I started to look after my body rather than hate it. I ate delicious and nutritious food, sat in the sun more, began getting proper sleep. I started to say things I was grateful for and things I liked about myself with the help from my coach @Lionstone Physique Coaching I can’t remember when but one day I remember thinking ‘wow I’m glad to be alive’ and that was such a new thought for me. I am proud of my weight loss transformation but I am SO SO SO MUCH MORE proud of my mental health transformation. If you’re starting your weight loss journey, it’s important to focus on the mental aspects and and not just physical.
