Buddhist Thanksgiving: Freedom in a Knot?

Why is it that Buddhists never seem to give thanks to a creator? Because they LIVE WITHIN the concept - that God is _actually_ in all beings, so there is no need to get on your knees and worship gods in the sky - for the creator is truly in everyone and everything. Buddhism teaches you techniques to realize this overt truth along with your meditation, for namaste is the reality to the shining, enlightened ones!
How can freedom relate to a knot? The symbol I put on the thumbnail is a Buddhist symbol called, "the endless knot." Here, I call it the gordian knot (the Celtic term for it.) This concept is that - like it or not, we are ALL tied to each other, or "married to all of humanity." I think that is what it symbolizes. So, in effect my question is pointing to the idea that you can become enlightened, even within the matrix, with a rental, 9-to-5, mortgage, homeless, wealthy, socialist, republican, or whatever situation or belief structure you are involved in (at least if you watch my videos,) through doing your shadow work, meditation and learning discerning awareness, you can become fully FREE, here and now, in the situation you are in. So, really. a _true_ Buddhist has an "aura" of thanksgiving - and an enlightened one is the most thankful of all (Boddhisattva or not,) because he was given the most challenging - and fun - job - of all - to awaken the masses and INITIATE them into FREEDOM!!!
