In today's video on Heliophobian, we will be reacting to comments on one of my recent YouTube videos titled "This YouTuber needs to be arrested... (ethan is online)," which was uploaded on May 8, 2024. This video was a response to a commentary video by ethan is online, a popular American YouTube channel with over 250,000 subscribers.

Initially focused on gameplay commentary, ethan's channel now aligns more with the 'Breadtube' or 'LeftTube' community. This community consists of online creators who produce video essays and livestreams from socialist, social democratic, communist, anarchist, and other left-wing perspectives. Ethan has collaborated with various channels, including former America's Got Talent contestant Ryan Beard (known as MrBeard), Nickisnotgreen, Gabi Belle, Jordan Adika, and Chad Chad. Together, they critique conservative viewpoints and content creators on topics like PragerU and Elon Musk.

On his second channel, @peethan, he posted a controversial video on March 3, 2024, titled "Hunting Predators for Clout." The video discusses Alex Rosen from Predator Poachers, a Houston-based vigilante group. Rosen worked with CC Unit to expose EDP445 in April 2021 under the alias Chet Goldstein. I perceived that much of his criticism stemmed from his interactions with right-leaning political commentators like Michael Knowles from the Daily Wire (in January 2024) and appearing on the show Timcast, hosted by former Vice News journalist Tim Pool, rather than focusing on substantive arguments. However, many of his fans (perhaps understandably) disagreed with me, often expressing their views in a less than civil manner, as evident from some of the comments.

Other creators in the BreadTube community include Twitch streamer HasanAbi (real name Hasan Piker, also known as hasanthehun) and transgender video essayist ContraPoints (real name Natalie Wynn). In October 2022, Ethan accused Sensitive soci3ty and other "anti-SJW" commentary channels like Acheeto of radicalizing their viewers.
