David Kent Jacobs (1937- ) is a film director, producer, and screenwriter in Utah.

David Kent Jacobs graduated from Weber College with an Associate of Science and completed his Bachelor of Science at Brigham Young University 1961. He was part of the Brigham Young University Motion Picture Department and was involved in multiple productions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
