"Some Germans live in apartments that are too big"
That’s not what we say - that’s what the Federal Environment Agency says in person of the head Dirk Messner.
and there we have it again: Now too large apartments are also to blame for the climate.

What is the solution?
What does the ReGIERung not come up with to get our property.

So far, we had the so-called land consolidation: If a house is previously on a plot, there are now four houses on the plot.
What works here also works for living space, as the head of the Federal Environment Agency imagines.

In other words:
„But building new apartments, which would be urgently needed in many cities, is not a good option from a climate protection perspective, Messner believes. Rather, he generally pleads for being economical with new buildings and instead focusing more on the further development of existing buildings. "This also applies to the creation of new living space," said Messner. This would mean that spacious apartments would have to be converted into smaller ones because of climate protection, instead of creating new housing."

In our job, when we accompany the purchase of the house, whether it be an existing purchase or a new building, we have always heard as arguments for the purchase:

Das sagen nicht wir - das sagt das Umweltbundesamt in Person vom Chef Herrn Dirk Messner.

und da haben wir es wieder: Jetzt sind zu große Wohnungen auch am Klima schuld.

Was ist die Lösung?
Was läßt sich die ReGIERung nicht alles einfallen, um an unser Eigentum zu kommen.

Bisher hatten wir die sogenannte Grundstücksverdichtung: Wenn vorher ein Haus auf einem Grundstück steht, stehen mittlerweile vier Häuser auf dem Grundstück.
Was da funktioniert, funktioniert auch bei Wohnraum, so stellt sich das jedenfalls der Chef vom Umweltbundesamt vor.

Soll heißen:

„Doch neue Wohnungen zu bauen, wie es in vielen Städten dringend notwendig wäre, sei hingegen keine gute Option aus Sicht des Klimaschutzes, findet Messner. Vielmehr plädiert er generell dafür, „sparsam beim Neubau zu sein und stattdessen den Blick stärker auf die Weiterentwicklung des Bestandes richten.“ Dies gelte auch bei der „Schaffung neuen Wohnraumes“, sagte Messner. Hieße: Geräumige Wohnungen würden dem Klimaschutz wegen in kleinere umgebaut werden müssen, statt neuen Wohnraum zu schaffen.“

In unserem Job, wenn wir den Hauskauf begleiten, egal ob Bestandskauf oder Neubau, haben wir als Argumente für den Kauf immer gehört:
„Ich möchte einmal meinen Kindern etwas hinterlassen“
„Das Haus ist Teil meiner Altersvorsorge.“

In nahezu 80% aller Fälle konnten wir beobachten: Kurz nach dem Kauf des Hauses begann die Familienplanung.

Ein Haus gehört für viele von uns zu unseren Werten und war einer der letzten Träume, die noch verwirklicht werden konnten.
Wie oft haben wir es erlebt, wie stolz unsere Klienten sind, wenn sie ihr Haus abbezahlt haben (und dank unserer Hilfe sogar schneller als geplant)

und wieder sind wir politisch: Die ReGIERung nimmt uns schlichtweg den Raum zum Atmen.
