George Washington's angelic visitation "Son of the Republic, look and learn"

George Washington was the first President of the United States and the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and presided over the convention that drafted the Constitution. During the dark days of the American revolution, George Washington had a spiritual experience of extraordinary potency. It was a vision and prophecy delivered by an angelic figure who showed him pictorially and symbolically what the future would be. The symbolism was quite obscure, as most symbolic prophecies are and shook Washington very visibly. Washington never saw this prophecy roll out to its end. But it would seem that one of the 'visions' has yet to become a reality.
