The Turkish President reportedly held an emergency meeting with the heads of intelligence and the Ministry of Justice, the Turkiye newspaper reported. The meeting came after Recep Tayyip Erdogan's coalition partner warned of a possible coup d'état being prepared by law enforcement agencies.
Nationalist Movement Party leader Devlet Bahceli warned of a possible repeat of the 2016 coup attempt in Turkey. The Turkish president reportedly huddled the Justice Minister and National Intelligence Organisation director at the president's residence overnight on May 14.
