The transition from being a high schooler to becoming an adult can be difficult, especially for those with special needs. A local program named Club Curative is looking to make that transition a bit easier for those with special needs by helping those aged 18-29 that suffer from developmental or cognitive disabilities learn everyday living skills.  Club Curative has a unique story. It was started when three families came to Curative Care seeking their help as a leading community resource.  They were looking for a place where their children with special needs could transition from high school to becoming young adults.   Club Curative is a vibrant place where young adults with special needs can be with their peers to laugh, socialize and enjoy community integration. It is also a great daytime resource for caregivers.   The program is offered at four of Curative Care’s locations and is staffed by highly qualified on site managers, program coordinators and specialists and curriculum developers.   The program is flexible and tailored to meet individual goals and expectations Curative Care also provides separate Adult Day Services programming for people with special needs who are over 29 years and older.
