Alright so due to my stay at an APA Hotel in Japan, I became aware of the essayist Seiji Fuji whom also apparently is the CEO of the hotel chain. Figured I would record my reading the English, while also giving commentary.

A link used in the video: https://en.apa-appletown.com/2019/08/the-japanese-south-korean-relationship-must-be-built-on-correct-historical-perception/ . You can find the Japanese version, if it exists.

Kinda a good recap of the Hong Kong issue. Then it goes into less clearly articulated things like the reason for saying that China is trying to rule the Pacific Ocean; it is but, well, the section doesn't do justice to the claim of what is obvious by now in 2024. The surveillance stuff and what not is nice but, after a bad section, is exhausted in it's ability to persuade a reader. The whole thing with Abe getting a second term was weird because, like, y'all's already changed the rules for his third term so what would stop a fifth term? And how is it that "only defeated countries are seen as war criminals" when Korea was a "defeated country" by the Japanese but are not seen as war criminals? Fine, Japanese Shinto is the most perfect religion that was created by humankind; who created humankind?

The issue with South Korea is that they are ignoring all the apologizing that Japan had already done, in the late 1960s, for things that actually occurred. The surviving victims of Japanese war crimes, which happened in larger numbers than that which usually accompanies war, were generally alive to be apologized to; the descendants are trying to blame the nation of Japan for something that was already resolved even if scar tissue can be visible to say that it has been repaired. And if 20,000 Koreans are recognized by the Yasukuni shrine, how can South Koreans be appalled when a Japanese religious-following person goes to that shrine???

And why are you guys going to say there are differences between Asians yet not apply that to "white society"? I am mostly German, not Romanian or Slavish or Spanish. Kinda a big difference, like how Mongolians are not Japanese.
