The View Mutes Cursing Robert De Niro as He Goes off on ‘Hateful, Mean-Spirited, Awful’ Trump

Robert De Niro once again raised alarms about a potential second Donald Trump term in the White House and he got so colorful with his language that ABC had to mute the Oscar-winning actor.

De Niro stopped by The View on Tuesday and doubled down on all of his past criticism of Trump, including saying he wanted to punch him in the face. The actor predicted the potential end to the country as we know it and compared Trump to dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

“I don’t understand why people are not taking him seriously because you read about it historically in other countries that they didn’t take the people seriously. I think of Hitler and Mussolini,” De Niro said.
