Obesity Victims

🫃VICTIMS OF OBESITY 🫃

I see obese individuals as fit people entombed in their fat. They are physically trapped in their body weight as is. Exercise capacity and mobility are already compromised. They often require extra accommodations to do regular activities of daily living (ADLs). If there were a zombie apocalypse right now, they would be the first to go because they are the easiest targets.

The final nail in the coffin is to have the mind further trap them to stay this way. It can be a lack of awareness because obesity can creep up slowly. But lately, there has been a trend of claiming victimhood status and demanding special provisions. Feeding victimhood adds to the misery and makes any correction much more difficult. To have permanent solutions to obesity, I must tackle the mental intangibles, in addition to nutrition, when someone comes to me to lose weight.
