But be warned — the movie gets pretty depressing. Let this be your content warning that the film contains themes of suicide, miscarriage, and gentrification.

Based on Jeannette Walls' memoir, The Glass Castle stars Brie Larson (The Marvels) as a writer in New York reflecting on her unconventional — and, at times, dysfunctional — upbringing. Although quite sanitized compared to the source material, The Glass Castle chronicles the remarkable and heart-wrenching story of a nomadic family with a chaotic, alcoholic father (Woody Harrelson). The Glass Castle was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), who also co-wrote the film with Andrew Lanham and Marti Noxon. The movie boasts an outstanding supporting cast that includes Naomi Watts (The Watcher), Sarah Snook (Succession), and Max Greenfield (New Girl).

As we mentioned above, the movie doesn’t quite reach the heights of its source material. However, The Glass Castle did receive praise for its performances, especially that of Larson in the lead role. The film emphasizes themes of unconditional love, family, and loyalty, all expressed beautifully by its stellar cast.

The film was written by Bong Joon-ho and Jon Ronson and features an ensemble cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Steven Yeun, Jake Gyllenhaal, and more.

Okja received great reviews from critics and competed for the Palme d'Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. The movie is Bong Joon-Ho at his most sentimental, without sacrificing any of his sublime sense of craft. The film finds a dark sense of humor in everything, from jokes about language to whatever is going on with Jake Gyllenhaal, who delivers one of his most eccentric performances ever. It is a more hopeful film than most of the director’s works, though it remains committed to finding more tragic truths amidst the bright colors and vibrant visuals we see along the way.

A fascinating tale of real-life World War II espionage, Operation Mincemeat reveals the story of a 1943 Allied deception operation that was kept out of the public record for years. The film follows Lieutenant Commander Ewen Montagu (Colin Firth) and his ally Charles Cholmondeley (Matthew Macfadyen) as they plan a daring mission: planting false information on a corpse to misdirect the Nazis so that the Allies can invade Sicily. Apart from its two leads, Operation Mincemeat also stars Kelly Macdonald, Penelope Wilton, Johnny Flynn, and Jason Isaacs, as well as the late Paul Ritter in his final film appearance.

Based on the 1929 novel of the same name by Nella Larsen, Rebecca Hall’s Passing chronicles the inequality and varying degrees of racism that African Americans in the 1920s faced based on the tone of their skin. Shot in black and white, this historical drama follows the fragile relationship between two high school friends who, because of their lighter skin, are able to “pass” as white. Clare (Ruth Negga) married John (Alexander Skarsgård), a wealthy white man from Chicago who loathes African Americans and is oblivious to the fact that his wife is one. Irene (Tessa Thompson) married a black doctor and lives in Harlem, constantly afraid of being “outed” as black when in white-only establishments. Irene and Clare’s reunion years later sparks conversation and reflection, as well as questions of identity.

Passing premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and received acclaim from critics, who praised the performances of its cast, as well as Hall’s writing and direction. Ruth Negga and Tessa Thompson give honest, BAFTA-nominated performances in this film, which tackles complex issues with a delicate approach.

A remake of the 2018 Danish film Den Skyldige, The Guilty is a crime drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) from a screenplay by Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective). The movie is centered on Joe Baylor (Jake Gyllenhaal), a demoted police officer stuck fielding calls on the night shift at a 9-1-1 call center. When one particular call comes through from a kidnapped woman, Joe is forced to confront his checkered past, which is perhaps not as innocent as we’re led to believe. The film also stars Christina Vidal, as well as the voices of Ethan Hawke, Riley Keough, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Paul Dano, and more.

The Guilty premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival and received praise from critics. In this crime thriller, which practically doubles as a one-man show, Gyllenhaal embodies the real-time anxieties, unpredictabilities, and life-and-death scenarios that 9-1-1 operators must deal with on a daily basis. It may not be quite up to the mark of the original Danish movie, but The Guilty is a gripping watch from start to finish.

Acclaimed by critics and a favorite of Formula 1 fans, Rush is a showcase of masterful performances, with both the lead actors getting pretty even screentime as Howard crafts a story of two very different men who were driven to be the best at what they do. The 1970s aesthetic is tangibly conjured by cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle, and the racing scenes are wildly exciting. And the cherry on top: a characteristically amazing soundtrack by the legendary Hans Zimmer.

Acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher’s first Netflix movie, Mank, follows Hollywood screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman) through his trials and tribulations as a charming and in-demand script doctor and his life a few years later as he develops and writes the first draft of what would become Citizen Kane. Mank chronicles the true-life inspirations for the characters and story of Kane, with an ensemble cast that includes Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, and more. The film is based on a screenplay written by David Fincher’s late father, Jack Fincher.

Mank is catnip for cinephiles, charting the true history behind the inspiration and writing of Citizen Kane, one of the most acclaimed works in the history of cinema. Oldman delivers a towering performance, and the film’s execution is tremendous as Fincher crafts a lush black-and-white feature that’s made to look (and sound) like it was released in 1941. Amanda Seyfried shines as actress Marion Davies, and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross deliver a lush throwback score that underlines the entire affair. It’s no wonder that Mank was almost universally acclaimed, receiving ten nominations at the Academy Awards and six at the Golden Globes. The film went on to win the Oscars for Best Cinematography and Best Production Design.

Written and directed by Tamara Jenkins, Private Life is a dramedy that stars Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamatti as Rachel and Richard Biegler, a couple in their late 40s who are desperately trying to get pregnant. Despite putting themselves through the fertility grinder, the Beiglers are no closer to having a child, and when they learn that their only chance is an egg donor, they want it to be someone they know. They decide to ask their wayward niece (not blood-related), Sadie (Kayli Carter), a well-meaning if slightly flighty young woman in her mid-20s. When she agrees, it ends up creating new, unforeseen complications — but never anything so outlandish that it breaks the movie’s powerful credibility.

Private Life premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018 and received generally positive reviews from critics. The film is a deft balancing act that plunges viewers into the frustration, anxiety, and hardship of a couple struggling to conceive, and yet it never loses sight of the humanity and moments of odd comedy in their struggle. The movie is remarkable for a multitude of reasons, but it demands to be seen for Hahn’s remarkable performance, which is easily one of her best.

Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story follows Nicole (Scarlett Johansson) and Charlie (Adam Driver), who were not only married but also worked together in an acting company where she starred and he directed. Their differing priorities have split them apart, and with reconciliation impossible, they try to navigate the minefield of divorce — only to slip into outright hostility in the custody battle over their son. Apart from its two leads, the movie also features Laura Dern, Alan Alda, Ray Liotta, Julie Hagerty, and Merritt Wever in supporting roles.

A critically acclaimed film, Marriage Story is a movie where the whole cast shines, with Laura Dern’s performance as Nicole’s lawyer having earned her an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress. It’s a mature, bittersweet, and powerful look at the end of marriage from both sides. The film may put you through the wringer, but you’ll feel grateful for the experience and the time spent with these characters.

Martin Scorsese’s epic crime drama The Irishman follows the life of Teamster and hitman Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro). Throughout the film’s 3.5-hour runtime, Sheeran narrates the story of how he became friends with mobster Russell Bufalino (Joe Pesci) and Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) and how these friendships converged into deadly consequences with Frank stuck in the middle. The movie was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on Charles Brandt’s 2004 book I Heard You Paint Houses. The film’s ensemble supporting cast also includes the likes of Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Harvey Keitel, and more.

Critically acclaimed and the recipient of numerous accolades, The Irishman begins life as an entertaining mob story before evolving into a powerful mediation on life, age, and regret. The movie discards the glamour of films like Goodfellas and Casino, instead focusing on the slow decay of a man who has always seen himself as a good soldier when all he really has to offer is violence and selfishness. Far from “just another mob movie” from Scorsese, The Irishman is a powerful look at your twilight years and reflecting on the choices you’ve made in life.

Taika Waititi’s delightful film Hunt for the Wilderpeople is an adventure comedy-drama set in New Zealand that follows young Ricky Baker (Julian Dennison) and his cantankerous "Uncle" Hector (Sam Neill). A child in the foster care system, Ricky is taken in by Hector and his wife, the more overtly loving “Aunt” Bella (Rima Te Wiata). When Bella dies, Hector is informed that Ricky will be relocated, which prompts the young boy to fake his death and run away into the New Zealand bush. Hector follows Ricky, and the two eventually end up bonding. Unfortunately for them, the circumstances of their disappearance lead to Hector and Ricky becoming the subjects of a national manhunt.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, where it was met with critical acclaim. The film is full of quirky humor, but it is never glib in the face of its often intensely emotional material. It’s part adventure tale and part family drama, finding a delicate balance between these disparate parts in a wonderfully entertaining way. Even the movie’s most bizarre turns never distract us from how deeply we end up feeling about this weird little kid and his surly new father figure out in the wilds of New Zealand.

With a screenplay by Oscar-winning Moonlight co-writer Tarell Alvin McCraney and direction by genius filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, High Flying Bird is a thrilling, delightful sports drama centered on Ray Burke (André Holland), a sports agent who attempts to find a way to end a basketball lockout that has himself (and many players) hurting for cash. The film’s star-studded cast includes the likes of Zazie Beetz, Melvin Gregg, Sonja Sohn, Zachary Quinto, Kyle MacLachlan, and Bill Duke, among others. High Flying Bird also features interviews with real-life NBA players Reggie Jackson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Donovan Mitchell, which are interspersed throughout its narrative.

High Flying Bird premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival and received critical acclaim for its performances, direction, and execution. Soderbergh — whose talents range from the glitz and glam of Ocean’s Eleven to the challenging drug trafficking ensemble Traffic — shot the entire movie on an iPhone 8, which adds another layer of urgency and intimacy to the proceedings. It’s mostly scenes of people talking in rooms, but the writing and performances are so good you’ll be glued to your screen for the entire runtime, which is a brisk 90 minutes. If you’re in the mood for something exciting, cerebral, and refreshing, give this one a go.

A cinematic masterpiece by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, Roma is a semi-autobiographical drama that recreates Cuarón’s childhood as told through the eyes of a domestic worker named Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio). A live-in maid who works for an upper-middle-class Mexican family in 1970s Mexico City, Cleo finds her life upended when she discovers she is pregnant. Meanwhile, the family she works for slowly unravels as the matriarch of the household tries to hide her husband’s infidelity from their children.

Widely regarded as one of the best Netflix original movies ever, Roma was acclaimed by critics and won the Golden Lion at the 2018 Venice International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere. Cuarón, who previously won an Oscar for Gravity and has pushed the boundaries of cinema with films like Children of Men and even Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, digs deep into his soul for this drama, which positions the viewer as an objective observer. That role becomes more and more heartbreaking as you, the viewer, become more emotionally invested in the lives of these individuals.

A historical drama and one of the best films of 2017, Mudbound was directed by Dee Rees, who also co-wrote the film with Virgil Williams. The movie is based on Hillary Jordan’s 2008 novel of the same name and follows the lives of two families, one Black (the Jacksons) and one white (the McAllans), in 1940s Mississippi. Specifically, it focuses on Jamie McAllan (Garrett Hedlund) and Ronsel Jackson (Jason Mitchell), who return from fighting in WWII and must navigate a life marred by racism and PTSD. The film’s cast includes Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Jonathan Banks, Rob Morgan, and Mary J. Blige.

A sprawling southern epic, Mudbound received high praise from critics and numerous accolades, including Academy Award nominations in the Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Song, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cinematography categories. Mudbound brilliantly examines the hardscrabble life of a white family who owns the land, a Black family who must work the land, and the conflicts and kinships that arise between them. Aside from the masterful craftsmanship and outstanding performances, Mudbound is a brilliant meditation on race and power that transcends its time and place. While the rural Mississippi setting gives the film its flavor, the inequality and power dynamics feel painfully relevant without coming off as preachy or obvious.

In 2011, a far-right terrorist set off a bomb at a government office in Norway and then made his way to a youth summer camp on an island, where he opened fire and killed 77 people in total. Bourne Ultimatum and United 93 filmmaker Paul Greengrass captures this real-life terrorist attack in excruciating detail in the opening half hour of 22 July, but the film then moves on to the aftermath, where Greengrass contrasts the story of the terrorist — who was captured, afforded an attorney, and sought to relay his political message — with that of one of his victims, a young boy who was shot in the head and faces a long road to recovery. A crime drama starring Anders Danielsen Lie, Jon Øigarden, Thorbjørn Harr, and more, 22 July was written and directed by Greengrass, who based it on the book One of Us: The Story of a Massacre in Norway — and Its Aftermath by Åsne Seierstad.

22 July premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2018, receiving generally favorable reviews from critics. Its story is one of finding hope and courage in the face of absolute evil and holds continued relevance in the world. This is a harrowing, emotional, and ultimately necessary film.

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, The Trial of the Chicago 7 is a historical legal drama that dramatizes true events that happened in the wake of the 1968 Democratic National Convention. The film follows the case of the titular Chicago 7, Vietnam War protesters who were put on trial and accused of inciting riots. The trial that unfolded is almost impossible to believe, as the judge makes his biased stance on the case clear throughout proceedings in which the idea of a “fair and just trial” is thrown out the window. The movie stars Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alex Sharp, Jeremy Strong, John Carroll Lynch, Noah Robbins, and Daniel Flaherty as the Chicago 7, playing Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman, Rennie Davis, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Lee Weiner, and John Froines, respectively. The ensemble cast also includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, Mark Rylance, and Ben Shenkman.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 was critically acclaimed and received nominations for several major awards. Interestingly enough, Sorkin first began working on the screenplay for the film back in 2007, at which point Steven Spielberg was attached to direct, but the film still feels relevant today. Indeed, this is a story about the world we live in right now using an event from our recent past. The film is, at heart, about the power of protest in its various forms, and it boasts stellar performances from its entire ensemble in addition to a rousing (and infuriating) screenplay by Sorkin.
Paris-based The Party Film Sales and Heather Millard of Iceland’s Compass Films have reunited with “When the Light Breaks” director Rúnar Rúnarsson on his next poetic filmic venture “O.”

The Icelandic film “When the Light Breaks” is due to open Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section May 15.
Headlining Iceland’s major international star Ingvar E. Sigurðsson (“A White, White Day,” “Fantastic Beasts, the Crimes of Grindelwald”), the 20-minute film “O” is a “humanistic and poetic story of a fragile man, trying to achieve a simple task where his main obstacle is within himself,” according to the official logline.

“We’re very excited to also accompany Rúnar on his new short film,” said The Party Film Sales’ Samuel Blanc. “O” and “When the Light Breaks” have a lot in common and resonate with each other. We’re confident distributors will be interested in programming both films in tandem: in the frame of special screenings, TV and platforms runs, or even for traditional theatrical exhibition,” he said.

Popular on Variety

Filmed in Iceland last summer, and reuniting some heads of department of “When the Light Breaks” – DP Sophia Olsson and set designer Hulda Helgadóttir – ‘O’ is currently in post-production.

“We actually shot ‘O’ before “When the Light Breaks” as we needed the same quality of light, but just finished it now, as we had to juggled with both productions at the same time,” said Millard, who emphasises Rúnarsson’s versatile and unique filmmaking talent, whatever the format. “In all of Rúnar’s films, you can feel they are built upon strong personal stories, which are able to draw us into the vulnerabilities of his character,” she noted.

Millard is producing with Rúnarsson’s Halibut, in co-production with Sweden’s Film, pubcaster SVT and regional film fund Film i Väst. Mike Downey, co-producer of “When the Light Breaks,” is executive producing.

“Rúnar is one of the most original voices across all cinematic forms, in Europe and beyond. It’s always a total inspiration to work with someone so creative and who gets the very best from all his collaborators,” said Downey who also serves as chairman of the European Film Academy.

One of Iceland’s hottest directors on the international festival circuit and arthouse stage, Rúnarsson was Oscar nominated for his short film “The Last Farm” (2006), part of his crossroads trilogy with the 2008 Palme d’or short film entry “2 Birds” and 2009 short “Anna,” selected at the Directors’ Fortnight. Two years later Rúnarsson was back at the Cannes parallel sidebar with his debut feature “Volcano,” Iceland’s Oscar candidate in 2011.

Meanwhile on eve of the Cannes red carpet launch of “When the Light Breaks,” The Party Film Sales and Compass Films have shared in exclusivity with Variety the trailer of the film, which captures a young woman’s emotional roller-coaster as she encounters love, friendship, sorrow and beauty, all within 24 hours.

The clip sneak peeks the talent of the young actor Elín Hall, cast in Rúnarsson’s previous film “Echo,” as well as the luminous photography of Rúnarsson’s long-time collaborator Olsson (credited for two episodes of “The Crown”) and the film’s endearing score, based on the music composed earlier by the late Oscar-nominated Jóhann Jóhannsson (“Sicario,” “The Theory of Everything”).
Nothing is as it seems in Richard Gere and Diane Kruger's new thriller.

On May 14, Lionsgate and Grindstone Films debuted the trailer for Longing exclusively with PEOPLE.

In the film, Gere, 74, plays a man named Daniel who reconnects with his former romantic partner Rachel after multiple decades apart — only to learn that she secretly gave birth to their son, named Alan, after their breakup.

Daniel is even more shocked to learn that Alan recently died in a car accident, leaving him desperate to learn about his son's life.

The trailer shows Daniel as he travels to Alan's school and meets his best friend and girlfriend, as well as a teacher named Alice (played by Kruger, 47).

Soon, Daniel begins to realize the circumstances surrounding Alan's death and relationships were more complicated than he realized — including that Alan's girlfriend is pregnant and he appeared to have an inappropriate crush on Alice.

A new Deadpool & Wolverine image reveals that Deadpool will receive a TemPad in the MCU's Phase 5.
Deadpool using a TemPad will make it easy for him to travel throughout the MCU's history, supporting a major theory.
Deadpool's multiversal travel could create major problems for the MCU's future.
Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool seems to receive a helpful tool in a new image from Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine, supporting a major theory for the upcoming MCU Phase 5 movie. Deadpool & Wolverine was confirmed to be in development by lead star Ryan Reynolds and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige shortly after Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox was finalized in 2019. Hugh Jackman was revealed to be returning as James "Logan" Howlett's Wolverine in September 2022, and, since then, official trailers for Deadpool & Wolverine have uncovered an epic multiversal journey for the merc-with-a-mouth and his clawed best friend.

Expected to bring Deadpool into the MCU proper on a permanent basis, Deadpool & Wolverine will bridge the gap between the MCU and 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise. This creates the opportunity for a huge number of exciting cameos, with the likes of Pyro, Lady Deathstrike, Azazel and Thor being confirmed, while there are sure to be many more surprises. Suspected MCU cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine gives weight to a theory regarding Deadpool and Wolverine's massive journey in the upcoming movie, and a new image from the project hints at this mission being a lot easier than first expected.

Deadpool Gets A TemPad In New Deadpool & Wolverine Image
Wolverine with Deadpool and a TemPad in the TVA in Entertainment Weekly Deadpool & Wolverine image
In a new image featured in a May 2024 Entertainment Weekly article revealing more about Hugh Jackman's role in Deadpool & Wolverine, the titular mutants can be seen in the halls of the MCU's Time Variance Authority. The TVA is expected to send Deadpool and Wolverine on a dangerous mission in Phase 5, and this image suggests the organization will gift Deadpool a TemPad to aid in this journey. First introduced in Marvel Studios' Loki series, TemPads allow for easy travel through time and across the branching timelines of the Sacred Timeline, revealing more about Deadpool and Wolverine's upcoming journey.

Deadpool’s TemPad Can Make It Easy For Him To Travel Through The MCU’s History
The fact that Deadpool may be receiving a TemPad from the TVA in Deadpool & Wolverine gives weight to a theory that Deadpool and Wolverine will be traveling throughout the MCU's history. A recent, since removed, report suggested that Deadpool and Wolverine would be revisiting some major, fan-favorite moments from the MCU's Phases 1, 2, 3 and 4, opening the door for some massive moments to be reinvented with the mutants' involvement, and for beloved MCU heroes to make cameo appearances. Wielding a TemPad makes this theory all but inevitable, as Deadpool can literally walk from one event to another.

TemPads allow for easy travel through time and across the branching timelines of the Sacred Timeline.

After the release of Deadpool & Wolverine's first trailer in February 2024, there was speculation that Deadpool may have been seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron's opening forest scene, and on the Hulk's bed on Sakaar from Thor: Ragnarok. Since then, many other major MCU events have been suspected to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine, perhaps most notably Avengers: Endgame's final battle scene. Since Deadpool and Wolverine may have the help of a TemPad in the MCU's Phase 5, this journey can be a lot easier for the two powerful mutants, but could pose a problem for the MCU's future.

Deadpool’s MCU Journey Could Create Huge Problems For The MCU’s Phase 6
Deadpool jumping into a portal with Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine trailer
While it would be brilliant to see Deadpool and Wolverine travel throughout the MCU's history in Phase 5, this could create some dangerous threats for the entire franchise heading into Phase 6. Deadpool using a TemPad to jump around the Sacred Timeline will seemingly create a number of branching timelines, and since Deadpool & Wolverine is suspected to take place prior to Loki season 2 establishing a safe multiverse, this could create Nexus events. The creation of these Nexus events has proven dangerous in the past, particularly with the threat of Kang the Conqueror looming in the Sacred Timeline's branches.

Whether it be Nexus events of incursions being created in Deadpool & Wolverine, this Phase 5 movie can set up some major storylines for upcoming projects, including Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars. Even though these incursions could create huge issues for the MCU, this could tease Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's inclusion in Phase 6's upcoming projects, with the latter perhaps returning for a final time before Marvel Studios recasts Wolverine for the MCU. Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to be a thrilling adventure that will revive passion in the MCU, but it could also create some significant issues.

“Our new film ‘Megalopolis’ is the best work I’ve ever had the privilege to preside over,” reads a quote attributed to iconic director Francis Ford Coppola attached to the official trailer for his new epic film.

The picture, which will premiere in competition on Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival, has been a project many years in the making for the director. He first began work on the screenplay in the 1980s.

The legendary filmmaker behind “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now” has invested $120 million of his own money into the film.
The trailer starts with a voice-over musing about the decline of empires – “when does an empire die? Does it collapse in one terrible moment? No, no. But there comes a time when people no longer believe in it” — before cutting to a Roman chariot race, a metropolitan skyscape and scenes of protest.
According to the official synopsis, “‘Megalopolis’ is a Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito), who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.”
