What does a dream within a dream mean?

A lot of times, people are somewhere and then all of a sudden they wake up in the dream and they're still dreaming. Take for example, I had a dream that I was in a mall, there was a shooting in the mall and all of a sudden I woke up in the dream and I was in my bed, but I'm still dreaming. And then I dream that there's a tornado coming through and then I wake up for real. So what was a shooting in the dream within a So it can be the idea of God is waking you up to something. Or what often happens is you're someplace in a dream and then you realize it was a dream and you wake up and then there's other people there and the other people weren't sleeping. And so God is awakening you to something that they may already be awake to, or that was only for you. There's a plethora of things that a dream within a dream can mean. But it's what we call an anomaly. It's typically rare. It doesn't happen very often. Hear from God what it means.
