The "The Truth About Fluoridation" video was produced by University of Michigan School of Dentistry alum, Ray E. Stevens Jr. (Class of 1944). This film promoted the dental health benefits of fluoridation. The city of Grand Rapids was the first in the nation to adopt fluoridated public water systems on January 5th, 1945.
