Woman found dead on sidewalk with gunshot wound near 36th and Park

Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a homicide after finding a woman dead on a sidewalk. Just after 4:30 a.m., officers went to the area of 36th and Park, where they found the woman down on the sidewalk. She had an apparent gunshot wound. KCFD also responded and declared the woman dead at the scene.
