Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen istestifying at a New York court in the ex-president's historic hush-money trial.

Mr Cohen alleges that the former president told him tobe prepared for "a lot of women" who could comeforward when he entered the presidential race.

It's alleged that Mr Cohen paid adult film star StormyDaniels $130,000 (£104,300) to stay quiet aboutclaims that she and Mr Trump had sex in 2006.

Mr Trump is accused of trying to cover up thepayments he made to reimburse Mr Cohen byfraudulently recording them in his business records.

Mr Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts offalsifying business records to conceal the paymentand denies any sexual encounter with Stormy Daniels.
