Tripping on Travel: Bigelow Hollow State Park, pt 3, Union, CT

Before the footage moves deeper north into the park in part four, we end part three with the last of my footage captured near the shoreline of Bigelow Pond. In fact, as I edit the footage of Bigelow Hollow, I'm reminded this is my favorite location from the Up Close series thus far. If people respect our parks and care for them, the parks often return that grace with beauty and the experience of their natural environments. It's of great interest to me to capture these moments up close, without people in the frame, and immortalize that experience on video.

Alcohol is prohibited inside the park. All pets must be on a leash no more than 7 feet long. There is no camping or ground fires permitted in the park. Out-of-state visitors will pay a parking fee. According to the CTParks website, out-of-state visitors are required to pay a $10 fee to park on weekdays, and $15 on weekends and holidays. All visitors are required to take their trash with them when they leave.
