New leadership in military - Andrey Belousov

Andrey Belousov, Assistant to the President of Russia, made a presentation on the topic of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Here are the main points:

• The Russian Armed Forces actively use various types of UAVs during special military operations. They are used for reconnaissance, target designation and fire adjustment.

• However, Russia is facing a shortage of modern UAVs. This is due to the fact that before the start of the SVO, Russia mainly relied on imported components, which are now unavailable due to sanctions.

• To solve this problem, Russia is actively developing its own UAV production. Work is underway to create new models, including heavy attack drones.

• Russia is also exploring the possibility of using civilian commercial UAVs for military purposes. This will allow us to quickly expand our drone fleet.
