My camera shut off on me once again. The last thought I wanted to express was that I believe that no matter how nonsensical a soulmate connection could seem...no matter how unlikely to go the distance a soulmate connection could seem...one cannot deny when that bond is being experienced. And my opinion is that it is ALWAYS foolish to turn your back on such an opportunity. Even if you firmly believe it will be nothing more than a TEMPORARY relationship. Why? Because there must be SOME reason the MUTUAL connection formed in the first place. There is probably something to learn there, in my opinion. In the book, the main character does not regret entering into the affair. He could not have walked away from it and been true to who he was. There was something he needed to learn there. The only thing he regretted was not being honest with his wife about it. And I agree with that also. He honored himself by not turning his back on the affair but he dishonored himself and disrespected his wife by not telling her about it.

And also...I should have said I thought the fictional story Layers was BASED on and INSPIRED BY the soulmate connection of Dr. Branden and his ex-wife Devers. I have no idea how much of the story was autobiographical in nature and how much was fiction.

I don't know how true or untrue the conspiracies regarding Walt Disney are but what I DO know is that he was a great GENIUS and that he understood the beauty of the soulmate connection to a DEEP degree :) And for that I will forever be grateful to him...regardless of whatever his vices may or may not have been.
