Day 133 | Daily Bible Reading | Solomon’s Son… Not So Wise | 2 Chronicles 9-12

Kings and queens from all over come to see Solomon and harvest from his wisdom, while his kingdom increases in stature and wealth. It doesn’t last long. After Solomon’s death, his son becomes the new king, and instead of lightening the burden on his people (per the advice of his older advisers), he decides to play hardball (per the advice of his young friends); and it backfires.
