Michael Crichton - the Spoon bending party

Michael Crichton was an American author and filmmaker. Although he received an M.D. from Harvard Medical School , he did not practice medicine, choosing to focus on his writing instead. He eventually wrote 26 novels. Crichton was also involved in the film and television industry and several of his novels were adapted into films, most notably Jurassic Park. What is perhaps less well known, is that he was very interested in the spiritual, and practised meditation throughout much of his life. His autobiography is called Travels and in it he describes what happened when he went to a spoon bending party.
