Episode one:

Title: The LSD Story
Original air date: Thu, Jan 12, 1967
Synopsis: Friday and Gannon encounter Benjy "Blue Boy" Carver, an LSD user. Because of the then-lack of any laws against the use of LSD, they are unable to make arrest him. Finally, legislation is passed against LSD use and sale, but by then it's too late for "Blue Boy".

Caveat: I thought it was interesting because at one point they do arrest Blue Boy, but it was for living an immoral lifestyle.

Episode 2: S1.E2 Title: The Big Explosion
Original air date: Thu, Jan 19, 1967
Synopsis: Friday and Gannon are working the burglary division when a report comes in that a large quantity of high velocity gelatin dynamite has been stolen from a construction site. When they finally locate the stolen goods, they discover that four of the eight cases are empty and the dynamite that was removed is set to go off at 9am.
