St. Lucie County residents are lucky to have great people like Jennifer Frey to step up to the plate and run for office in such a time as this. Jennifer has great passion and commitment to making her county a better place and deserves much appreciation for that alone.

Jennifer has been serving the Supervisor of Elections as a Clerk since 2016 and is adamant that after 44 years on the job, it's time for her SOE to retire. Jennifer has a great personality and it's clear she would be a draw for others to join the SOE office when the going gets tough. She appears to have a good understanding of precinct management which is important for getting out the vote and other related elections requirements.

When asked whether her lack of a technical background would impede her ability to sense whether the voting machines were being misused during an election, she claims to already have a technical team in place that will be able to handle that for her.

With the St. Lucie County incumbent being in office for 44 years, Jennifer has only one other opponent, George Umansky, who I've also interviewed on WARN2024 and encourage you to listen to both to get a better sense of which you'd prefer to be your next SOE.

Above all, everyone must vote in the upcoming primary on August 20th so their voice is heard. This position is too important to take lightly.
