4th Servant Song - Pt 3 - Isaiah 53:6-9 - Sheep With a Shepherd

None of us have stayed on the narrow path or the highway of holiness. We all like sheep have gone astray. The worst thing to be is a sheep without a shepherd. But in Messiah, we are sheep with a Shepherd--one who will fight off the lion and the bear just like a young David did. The life of the Shepherd is at risk when He wants to leave the 99 in search of the 1 that has wandered away. He may have to fight a predator. Messiah did fight for us--He laid down His life for His sheep--He bore the weight of our iniquity. And we are healed, we have eternal life because of it. In Him we are One people with One Shepherd.
