On April 18, 2024, five courageous girls from Lincoln Middle School in Shinnston, WV made national headlines when they silently protested for having to compete with a male student.
MaKenna Bowen was one of those Courageous Five. In this episode, she shares her experience at the Harrison County Track Championship as well as thoughts on the media attention after their video went viral.
